We're on a trip to Arizona, it's our second day. I'm blogging from the Jucumba Spa. It's really nice here. Next we're going to Yuma, then some camping by Superior and to Miami. Caleb and I chose Miami because it's kind of like a play on words with Miami, Florida. Ok, talk to ya later, and remember, I like pie!

Hi. I did that thing again where I forgot to blog. Hanukkah just past and I got a ring, a bunch of Scary Girls (I collect them), and a Finders Keepers. I love stuff like that. Caleb got some Funkeys and a PSP with a game. We've been to a couple of art shows. Best of all, I had my first intermediate flute recital today and I'm having another one on the 18th. I love band. Most of all, I love life!!

Last night we saw two movies at the theater. The first one was called August Rush. It was about a little boy who's real name is Evan Taylor. He runs away from an orphanage, than he stayed with this guitarist named Wizard, then he conducts a classical orchestra, goes back to Wizard, then does a concert for the classical orchestra. All this was because he hoped if he played music his parents would hear it and find him. This movie is for anyone who likes love and action movies. The other movie we saw was Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium. It was cute movie about a little store. When the owner of the store announces he's decided he's going to pass away, the store gets sad. Mr. Magorium left the store to his worker, Mahoney. She had a choice between selling the store or cheering it up, did I mention the store was magic? This is a movie for people who like cute comedies.

This will be kind of short. I didn't blog about Halloween! I was a bloody vampire, Caleb was an unknown phantom, my friend Maddie (whom we trick or treated with), was a hippie, and my dad was a guy with a bolt through his head. We filled our bags up to the brim with candy and still have some. I scared all the staff at my bro's elementary school Halloween carnival . Why do school staff always dress cute and harmless on Halloween? It was all so cool. Oh, and remember, I Like Pie!

This past Saturday was my BIRTHDAY! I turned 11. I had two birthday parties, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The morning party was for family to come, and the afternoon party was for my friends. I had my mom and dad, brother, grandma, my grandma's friends, and my mom's friend. I had my afternoon party full of friends like Maddie, Becca, Johanna (who speaks German, Spanish, and American), Ben, my brother Caleb (Eww), my grandpa, two of my grandmas, Helena, and more. I got great presents like canvases for my art studio, jewelry, and crafts. I had cheesecake at one party and ice cream cake at the other. I know, yummy!! It was all fun and I feel older already!!

Yesterday night we went to the Apple store for an Apple party. Cool, huh? I tried to blog from an iPhone, but it wouldn't send. We got free t-shirts and everything! I really suggest those who haven't already checked out Apple definitely should, but it's highly unlikely that a lot of people don't know about Apple, no offense to those who are just hearing of Apple. Moving on. Speaking of parties, today we had a Halloween party. My best friend Madison came with her sister, Cam. We also had another Cam, but he was a boy, and he brought his sister and his cousin. We had Jon, my brother Caleb's friend, and his awesome semi-adopted brother Eric. We played a bunch of games and ate cockroach pizza and rats eating eyeball ice cream cake. Life is so fun!!

Oh, my, GOSH! I havn't written in so long, and I have so much to say! First of all, we've been visiting some artists houses. We went to Jean Lowe and Kim MacConnel's house. Instead of showing us bunches of art, Jean baked pie! We also went to Kelly Hutchinson's house, but there we did buy art. It's a picture of an evil man-eating TV. Moving on. We went to another opening at the L Street Gallery. We love those. They have great food, great art and great music. We like to start what we call "dance revolution", because everyone is to scared to dance, and we aren't. By the way, guess who's birthday it is nexrt month. Mine! It's on November 10th. How 'bout I just write the rest later? Talk to you soon, Bye!!!

Today was my first day of Lewis Middle School. I was ready with my Red Tango bag full of school stuff. Seriously, watch the Red Tango video, it's cute! Middle school is awsome, it's... different. There's so many classes! I'm with a best friend in every class, though. I can't wait before I start helping the world and it's inhabitants!!! P.S. I like pie!!!!

It has been our entertanment week! First, we went to the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus. It was amazing! I liked the dog trainers, Dad liked the Chinese contortionists, and Caleb liked the tiger trainer. We also went to a Hilary Duff concert at the San Diego State Open Air Theatre. She is so grown up and so beautiful! There were 2 drummers, 2 keyboard players, 3 guitarists, 2 back-up singers, 4 back-up dancers, and lots of special effects. The best song she did was Danger. We also went to a Bowling For Soup concert that wasn't really a concert. They played like 5 songs, on only 2 acoustic guitars, and then a game where their friends came up and the adience yelled out songs, that didn't have to be by Bowling For Soup, for the band to play. To top it all off, we're going backpacking today!

On Saturday we got a snake and named it Cora. It's a Sinaloan Milksnake . It's really beautiful. We, my family and I, love holding it and having it crawl through our fingers. We also invited my friend, Maddie, over to see our new kittens. At that time they were just a couple days old. The reason we invited Maddie was because one of the two moms, Holly, is half hers because she was with us when we first got Holly and Kibbles. The kittens are now about a week old. I love having pets!!

I wrote a really nice poem about people's many feelings and sent it in to a contest. I'm a semi finalist, and my work will be in a book! I was even invited to Las Vegas for a chance to win poet of the year! My poem is called A World Of Feelings. Vote for my poem at poetry.com. I could win stuff like $2000!

I have two awesome things to talk about. First, we went to Joshua Tree on Sunday and Monday. It got over 100 degrees! Luckily we were at the edge of a huge rock montain, and the sun had to push the shade somwhere! We spent a lot of time in the shade, but we also did a lot of clmibing. The second thing is that we spent all last night walking in the sewer drain. Cool, huh? It was kind of gross, though. We walked for miles. It eventually ended in an ocean of run-off at Collwood. If you try them you might like them too, both of them!

It's Passover again. Well, no bread, and by that I mean cookies, for 8 days. I am warning you, don't try Passover cereal. Passover cereal soggs up in like the first 3 minutes. I like this this holiday because it's a fun experience that I don't feel everyday. If you'd like to try it, I encourage you to do so. Well, I'll write to you some other time!

On Friday, the family and I went to see a Lily Allen concert. Lily was beautiful, and to think, all she wore was a plain shirt, shorts, sneakers, earings, and a necklace. Her most noticeable accesory was her gold glitter eye shadow. We saw her at the House of Blues, and man, I had to wear ear plugs the speakers were so loud. If you listen to her music, and I advise you do, you'll be shocked at her incredible English accent. Well, bye-bye now!

2 nights ago Dad, Caleb, and I watched Girls Just Want To Have Fun. We pretty much watched it for Sarah Jessica Parker, who I thought was awsome, but the whole movie was great. I suggjest you watch this movie if you enjoy dancing and mushy-gushy stuff. Goodbye, and just remember, I'm Saphira the perfect-ish ten year old angel!
